Various products will soon be available in formats including:- Electronic communication through a third-party e.g. GMC, BMA, DoH etc. Professional publications e.g. BMJ, Lancet, Police Review, etc etc Electronically available information e.g. NHS IT systems with request & deliver availability e.g. National Electronic Library for Health Fact sheets, leaflets, pamphlets and booklets DVDs and videos Interactive materials (various media) Workplace based learning - tutorials etc. Lectures and seminars - The first one to be made available is a 60 minute presentation on 'Contested Abuse - Implications for Child Protection' with supportive literature Courses - will be tailor-made and could include half and full day presentations made by a variety of professionals/experts on topics including the causes and consequences of child abuse, the legal aspects of child protection, the forensic and policing aspects, the legal perspective, psychiatric and other primary and secondary care (including psychiatric nursing) issues, advocacy, the role of the social worker, counselling and therapeutic/forensic support and therapy, relevant psychological research, implications for teaching and care staff, the appropriation of funding in a resource restricted environment, Satanic Ritual Abuse and the concept and implications of false memory etc. Written vocational materials condensed into a professional textbook anticipated for professional and perhaps informed lay consumption |
